QUALIFIED INVESTOR.

Who Is a Qualified Investor?

Under Israeli securities law, a Qualified Investor is an individual who meets at least one of the following criteria:

  • Liquid Assets: Holds liquid assets with a total value exceeding ₪9,411,809. Liquid assets include cash, deposits and securities traded on a stock exchange.
  • Annual Income: Earned an income exceeding ₪1,411,772 in each of the past two years, or household income exceeding ₪2,117,657.
  • Combined Assets & Income: Holds liquid assets with a total value exceeding ₪5,882,380, and earned an income exceeding ₪702,885 in each of the past two years, or household income exceeding ₪1,058,827.

If you meet any of these criteria, you may qualify as a Qualified Investor, giving you access to a broader range of sophisticated investment opportunities.

Recognition as a Qualified Investor opens the door to unique investment opportunities, such as:

  • Private Placements: Access to investments that are not available to the general public.
  • Preferential Terms: The opportunity to participate in securities offerings at an early stage, in some cases on preferential terms.
  • Direct Engagement: The opportunity to receive detailed information on investment opportunities directly from the issuer or fund manager.

ALTERNATIVES.

What Are Alternative Investments?

Alternative investments are investment channels that fall outside traditional public markets such as stocks and bonds. They span a wide range of options, including:

  • Hedge Funds: Funds that manage diversified investment portfolios with the aim of generating positive returns across all market conditions.
  • Venture Capital Funds: Investments in early-stage startup companies with high growth potential.
  • Infrastructure Investments: Investments in projects such as roads, bridges and energy facilities.
  • Real Estate Investments: Acquiring properties for rental income, or for value enhancement and resale.

Because these investments are not traded on public exchanges, they are less directly affected by day to day market fluctuations. However, they are typically less liquid than traditional investments.
